The Pool Director is authorized to enforce the pool rules. At his discretion, he may remove from the premises any person he believes to be jeopardizing the safety and enjoyment of others. The Pool Director may further recommend to the Board of Trustees suspension of pool privileges for that person.
The Board of Trustees may amend or supplement these regulations whenever necessary for the safety and enjoyment of the entire Club Membership.
The pool will open on Memorial Day weekend and close at the Board of Trustees discretion after the Labor Day weekend.

Adult swim will be at the discretion of the Pool Director.
The Pool Director, with the guidance of the General Manager, will determine when weather conditions require the closing or permit the opening of the pool.
Pool guests must be registered at the Pool Registration Desk and may be introduced only by members who will be responsible for their guest fees, charges and conduct. No guest is permitted privileges of the pool more than five times per season. Guest charges are $12.50 for Monday-Friday and $20.00 for Saturday, Sunday, & holidays.
A House Guest is defined as one who will be visiting and living in a member's household during the season requiring more than the allotted 5 guest visits. A House Guest may be a member's child, home from school for the summer, through the age of 25. A written request to the Pool committee is required for House Guests. See applicable fees outlined in the dues schedule.
Au Pair/ Nanny
An Au Pair / Nanny is employed by a member as caregiver for a member's child/ children. The Au Pair / Nanny must be registered with the Club. Transfer of registration is possible at the discretion of the Pool Committee by special written request. The Au Pair/ Nanny may only use the facilities when accompanied by the member children in their care.
Children who are not "potty trained" are required to wear swimming diapers and are not permitted in the main pool. The Pool Director, at his discretion, may identify at risk swimmers and may request that they refrain from utilizing the deep water and diving well. A child under twelve must be accompanied by an adult or designated babysitter aged 16 years and older while in the pool area. The Club offers a wading pool and a training pool designed for young children ages 6 and under. The use of toys in the wading pools is at the discretion of the Pool staff.
Smoking is permitted only in the Tiki Bar Lounge Area.
Bathing suits and beach clothes may be worn only in the pool enclosure and are not permitted anywhere else on the Club premises. Adults must wear a cover-up when moving between the Clubhouse locker rooms and the pool to accommodate members who are first playing golf and then using to the pool. Members using the pool without first playing golf are requested to change clothes at the pool locker rooms. Family members under 18 years of age must change clothes in the bathhouse at the pool and may not change in the Clubhouse locker rooms.
Swimming is permitted only when a lifeguard is on duty. There shall be no swimming when the pool is closed. A violation of this regulation is cause for immediate suspension of pool privileges.
Swimming boards, mats, glass masks, rubber tubes and other swimming appliances are not permitted in the pool. Exceptions may be necessary for instruction, at the discretion of the Pool Director.
Ball throwing, running, pushing, shouting, amplified noise and other disorderly conduct is prohibited at all times.
Purchases at the snack bar may be made by coupon or member charge. Coupon books may be purchased at the pool office from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The pool and snack bar staff will monitor conduct in the snack bar and dining areas. Standing on chairs, sitting on tables, touching the TV and other inappropriate conduct are grounds for suspension.
No glass containers of any kind will be allowed inside the fenced pool area. Neither food nor beverages may be carried into the pool area from the outside. Food purchased from the snack bar must be consumed in the upper level dining areas. Food may not be consumed anywhere on the ground level with the exception of special Club functions. The consumption of beverages purchased at the tiki bar or snack bar is permitted anywhere within the pool enclosure. Only adults 21 years of age and older will be permitted to purchase beverages from the tiki bar. Children under the age of 21 are not permitted on the tiki bar deck when the tiki bar is open for service.
Members are limited to one chair per person.
A diaper changing and nursing area has been provided in the Ladies' Locker Room for the intimate care of infants. A diaper changing station has also been provided in the Men’s Locker Room. Please limit the special care of infants to these areas
The following are provisions of the Swimming Pool Code of New Jersey and have been made a part of the ordinance adopted by the Glen Ridge Board of Health. By law they apply to the operation of the pool.
a) All persons shall shower before entering the pool.
b) Any person showing evidence of any communicable skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharges or any other communicable disease shall be denied admission.
c) Any person with excessive sunburn, open blisters, cuts or bandages shall be denied admission.
d) Do not enter the water if you are experiencing or recovering from diarrhea or have had any signs of gastrointestinal (stomach) disease in the past seven days.
e) All children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers and be limited to the baby pools. Children should be encouraged to use the restroom before entering the water. Immediately report any "accidents" you observe in the bathing waters to a lifeguard.
f) No dogs or other animals shall be allowed in the pool area, dressing rooms or other parts of the pool enclosure.
g) Consumption of food is restricted to the upper level, indoor and outdoor dining areas. No beverages shall be consumed while in the pool.
h) Only food purchased from the snack bar or through the Club either by special arrangements or by special set-up can be consumed within the pool enclosure.
i) Conduct which endangers the safety and comfort of others shall be peohibited.
j) Outdoor bathing shall be prohibited during an electrical storm. In the event that the lightening siren sounds, the pool area must be evacuated to indoor enclosures.
k) Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall be prohibited from entering the water.
l) Unnecessary expectoration, spouting of water, roughness, rowdyism or other conduct affecting the safety and comfort of others shall not be permitted.
m)Children under the age of 21 are not permitted on the tiki bar deck when the tiki bar is open for service.
